Job Description
About End of an Era
Over 3 million Americans die each year, and $84 trillion will transfer to families and nonprofits over the next 30 years. Yet most people aren’t prepared — 68% don’t have a will, and many executors spend ~570 hours sorting assets and paperwork while grieving.
End of an Era is fixing that. We’re building an AI-powered estate platform that simplifies both planning and settlement — helping people organize what matters while they’re alive, and guiding families through closure when they’re gone.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative, resourceful Marketing Intern to help grow our brand and community. You’ll work across multiple marketing functions; from content and social to product and growth to help us reach, educate, and inspire consumers navigating estate planning and settlement management. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to learn what it takes to build a modern consumer-facing brand from the ground up.
Responsibilities
Develop relatable, human-centered messaging that connects with our audience.
Help plan and execute social media campaigns across multiple channels driving engagement, followers, and user growth.
Support content marketing efforts by researching topics, drafting posts, and helping manage our editorial calendar.
Assist in email and lifecycle marketing, including segmentation, content creation, and testing for engagement and retention.
Participate in partnership outreach, identifying partnership opportunities and communities aligned with our mission.
Collect and analyze marketing performance data to identify insights and optimize future campaigns.
What You’ll Bring
Strong writing and communication skills, especially for digital channels.
Curiosity about consumer psychology, storytelling, and audience engagement.
Familiarity with social platforms, short-form video, and digital trends.
Comfort working in a remote, startup environment
Prior experience with design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) or analytics (Google Analytics, HubSpot) is a plus.
What You’ll Get
Hands-on experience shaping a B2C brand narrative and voice.
Mentorship from experienced marketing and product leaders.
Portfolio-worthy work across social, content, and growth marketing.
Eligibility for school credit, depending on your institution’s requirements.
The chance to make an impact on how people approach one of life’s most meaningful topics.
